Yes. Chrome DevTools and VisBug are free. CSS Scan is a one-time license of about $59 to $95. PickCode has a free plan of 5 elements a day and a $49 one-time Pro, with no account needed to start. Prices were checked in October 2026.
Why people look elsewhere
The DivMagic extension build we reviewed on 29 October 2026 (version 2.1.22) requires a login and sells a subscription. Some users only find this out after installing; one Firefox review says "the paywall is only visible after you install the extension." If you copy a component now and then, a monthly plan can be hard to justify. The options below are either free or paid once, and each one lets you try it before you pay.
Options with no subscription
| Tool | Price | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome DevTools | Free, built in | Reading computed styles and rules by hand |
| VisBug | Free, open source | Inspecting and nudging styles on the page |
| CSS Scan | One-time, about $59 to $95 | Copying the original CSS rules with relative units |
| PickCode | Free 5 a day, Pro $49 once | Tailwind, React, Blade or HTML + CSS ready to paste |

When DivMagic is still the better pick
If you rely on its free web tools, want its docs in your own language (it publishes in 23), or need Firefox, DivMagic may still suit you. PickCode runs only in Chrome and Chromium browsers. Compare the two on the PickCode vs DivMagic page.
